Thanks! Good luck finding your A/S. When the right one comes along you will know. Post pictures when you get it. Truck rack was modified to accommodate two 17' kayaks. Kayak cradles are lying down in this photo. Also bikes mounts are installed to ...
hi Alice,
happy to get in touch with you again; I use my silver bullet "only" 2 monthes ( june to August) a year... may be a bit more time to do repairs ...( from April to June). I live in the north of France and weather is rarely very nice. Last trip was in the south west of France, Arcachon near Bordeaux exactly ( see my blog: http://american-dream-in-france.blogstop.com/ ) in the end of July '08 / August'08.
After that we comen back to your marvellous country in december to visit Texas ( south ) and Louisiana but without airstream.... ( I plan to find a solution to buy a vintage MH that 'ld stay in US and 'ld be use each time I travel there...).
using my A/S only 2 monthes is the fact that it's not easy to find campgrounds that accept a so big trailer... not only for the size but it's a question of space in the campground and the space to manoeuvre the rig... It's impossible to go where you want and ask if there is a place for a night.... with our kind of trailer, you have to prepare your trip and to reserve a large place ; Without that you take the risk to stay along the road ( if possible...) . Europe and especilally France, is not America ... No great free spaces to park.
It's the reason why, when we find a campground, we stay there for a long time ! As the campgrounds are small, we take long time to park correctly the trailer and we can't do that each day to find another place. sure each time we go , the risk to damage is highly with trees, signs overthere....
Hey Bruno!
When you first sign on to the site go to the MY PAGE TAB and there should be the option "customizing its appearance". Just choose that and have FUN!
Hi Alice ( if you permit me to call you by your 1st name...)
your page appearance is great... How do make you that or where to go to get mine so sophisticated...
thank you by advance.
