Bruno,
You inspire me with your love for everything American. Thanks for the reminder about your blog. Glad there is the English button. It has been a few years since I looked at it. Last time was after you got married in Daytona. I live about 90 minutes from there. Guess you just celebrated an anniversary - CONGRATS!
I did not realize your limited ability to use your A/S. My husband and I try to turn the wheels on MINE about every two months. We got lucky recently and have been away in it three times over the last five weeks. Two rallies and stayed in it for a week while working in Tampa. Even saw Rich Luhr at the Sarasota Rally.
Next trip will be in five weeks. We will take off for the Outer Banks in North Carolina and will be gone for about two weeks. Not sure if I can take sitting idle for FIVE weeks now that I have been out in it for so much recently. But at least my A/S sits just out the back door and I go out there almost daily.
Every year we go to the Florida Keys in September. So for now we plan two big trips per year and fill in between with short local Florida trips. So much to see and no time. And we both work so it makes for tight schedules. I hope to get another A/S in a few years. It's just like tattoos and potato chips - cant just have one. Looking for a vintage. CAN"T WAIT. I will keep posted on your blog. It was great getting in touch again.
Bruno,
I have not heard any word on what you have been up to. Have you been on any great trips in the Airstream lately? How is the camping in France? You must get LOTS of attention with your rig.

Hi Pintoman;
The difficulty to restaure an Airstream from FRANCE, is not to find pieces or parts but really to find a dealer that reply you and want to sent them overseas... and they are not a lot . Hopefully our caravan were in a good shape excet the the time where a farmer wanted to move it out of the storage and crash it on a wall...(see the blog ) and there, it was really difficult to find someone to repair that but I find...
now, even with the shipping cost, the Euro is interesting to buy part in USA...
Bruno, My daughter and son in law have become just the second owners of a 1971 Overlander International this summer will mark the first year of repairs, even though the unit is in amazing shape.How easy or hard is it for someone in France to find parts etc.
