About Me:
I work 5 months out of the year if you can call it work. I work with scouts June, July, August. November, December I am Santa Claus. Never without my airstream any more than I would be without my travel partner Pookey, a 2 year old Shis Stzu. The other 7 months I travel to places I like in this country. Today I look at the top of Grand Father Mountian most of the morning, its ridge lines protected by naked trees standing tall and straight. I am reminded of some man who has had hair transplanted up to the front of his head standing tall, straight, and thin. I write what I feel, on paper I save, for recording what I have learned this day. I take pictures of things that I will forget later, so that I may remember them today. I am 67 years old and capt. my 44 foot morgan sailboat on seas that extend to the horizion. I enjoy the elbow room of the open road as well as the open sea. I fell into Airstream, I already had the life style, and have dropped anchor many days at sunset, taking a big breath, and thanking the lord for this another wonderful day.

Location:
I park one of the airstreams at Mystic Springs, my airstream club's park in Pensacola, Fl. It seems that I am always thinking how to best fix things that make things better in one coach or the other. Dothan, Alabama would be where my Mother lives, and that I call home.

Hi Gerald,

Port Charoltte, didn't that get hit pretty hard in the 2004 hurricane season? I like what you said about looking in the rear view mirror and seeing the airstream...sounds great! I saw in the Airstream Life mag that KOA has partnered with airstream and you can rent them at KOA campgrounds to camp in (not take anywhere), however, there are only about 4 throughout the US at this time. There is an RV show this weekend in Pensacola put on by Camping World. Looking forward to that, but I doubt they will have any Airstreams. Have a fun summer.

Hi Gerald,

I unfortunately don't own an Airstream :-(

I recently sold my Casita travel trailer which I dearly loved. I work full time so didn't get to use it that much. I bought it in 2005 and had great times in it. In a couple years I plan to have another travel trailer of some sort. The Casita was great, perfect for just me to handle. One day I will be an airstream owner.

I'm not familiar with Mystic Springs in Pensacola. Can you tell me more about it? Also...when you are in Pensacola, I would love to have the opportunity to be able to see your Airstream.

Sounds like you live a nice life with the Airstreams and sailboat. Where do you keep your sailboat?

Thanks for making contact. Hope to hear back from you.

Amy
